Friday May 20

Hierapolis

Then traveled onward. As we embarked on the long journey to Bursa.

it was broken up by lunch in the town where Lydia who sold Purple dyes was from. so we took a brief picture stop there.

i fell in love with the little gypsy boy trying to sell us some kleenex's.

some more long driving.

another pit stop for a brief bathroom break and a pony-tailed, leather jacketed, musician Turkish Man gave me this white rose.

it was a long drive.

a really really really long drive.

made it to Bursa for sacrament meeting in the bar of the hotel.

Walked around Bursa (the first Capital of Ottoman Empire) and got goat milk icecream.

and that ended our night!

Never say no to a kind stranger handing you a flower. chocolate goat milk ice-cream is where it's at. sacrament meeting can be held anywhere and you can still feel the spirit. (even in the bar at a hotel.) and on the long drives, do your french braids upside down!

it is written.
